Jemima Osunde was born into a family of five is the last child and only daughter of her parents. Originally from Edo state, Jemima grew up in Lagos state where she had her secondary education.

She is presently a student at the College of Medicine of the University of Lagos. Jemima Osunde's journey to stardom began when she starred in the movie, 'Jungle Jewel.' However, she became a household name when she starred in the MTV Base series, 'Shuga.'

Since then she has gone on to star in a number of movies including 'Rumour has it,' 'Naija Beta', 'Silence' and 'Esohe.' Her acting skills can be easily detected because of it's uniqueness and style.

Recently she starred in the movie, 'New Money' where she played the role of a young aspiring designer whose life changes following the death of an absentee tycoon father, who left her to fill his shoes.

 

The drama follows her coming to terms with her newfound riches as she tries to successfully merge her newfound wealth with her old life.
