The pop star who is enjoying a new life in his career, which has seen him emerge as the most featured artist on the scene since the second quarter of the year, continues to bask in the newly found euphoria with performances around the country.

Duncan Mighty took to the Industry Nite stage on Wednesday, August 22nd, where he thrilled his fans with a number of his hit singles, both from his old projects and recent collaborations.

The highlight of the night was however his acoustic performance of the viral single, 'Fake Love' which features Wizkid.

Duncan Mighty delivered an effortless rendition of what can be classified as a 'soul cover' leading up to the first verse of the song, which generated a wild response from the audience.

The song released in May became an instant hit nationwide, featuring on charts earning the Port Harcourt singer plaudits from music lovers.

Wizkid revives Duncan Mighty's career

 

Since the release of the song, 'Fake Love' which features Wizkid alongside Duncan Mighty, the Port Harcourt’s first son has seen his career witness a renaissance of sort.

Music producer, K Solo in a recent interview on Wazobia Max highlighted the role that Wizkid has played in reviving Duncan Mighty's music.

According to him, ''Thank God for Wizkid that just woke every artist up to Duncan Mighty, like he is just one new upcoming artist in Lagos,'' he says.

This is a view shared not just by K Solo but by a number of music observers.

Following the success of 'Fake Love', Duncan Mighty has become the hottest property on the scene with many drawn to his sound.
