According to Forbes, George Clooney is world's highest paid actor with $239 million.

According to Forbes Magazine, George Clooney is the world's highest-paid actor with a whopping  $239 million.

In total, the world's 10 highest paid actors raked in a combined $748.5 million between June 1, 2017, and June 1, 2018, before fees and taxes.

Last week, Scarlett Johannson was revealed as the highest paid actress with $40.5m (£31.9m). This places the "Avengers" star as seventh in the male list.

This is an improvement from the 2017 list, which saw the highest paid actress Emma Stone not a spot in the top 10 Forbes list.

Others on the list include Dwayne Johnson, Dwayne Johnson, who almost doubled his 2017 earnings, making an extra $119m in the last 12 months.
