The new away strip for Juventus comes after international sportswear giants Adidas who earlier unveiled their third strip for the season which was produced from recycled polyester and ocean plastic.

Ronaldo who is a Nike Athelete took part in the obligatory modelling of strips for his new outfit.

The new outfit is unlike the regular stripped black and white home kit nor the eco-friendly third strip which has a dominant use of grey.

Th third strip is 'pastel sand' with a touch of black on the shoulder edges and badge area.

Ronaldo and the Juventus stars modelled the new attire at the club's Allianz Stadium  and the according to the proce on the club’s online store, the shirt will cost £80 (€89.95), supporters who want to rock the authentic version will pay a bit higher £117 (€129.95)

Francesca Venturini who is the designer for Adidas football stated that inspiration for the new away strip was derived from the clubs ambition and history.

He said, “Working with Juventus, the history of the club serves as both inspiration and ambition.

“Our goal is to take the iconic design elements associated with the club and inject them with contemporary style that makes the jersey work for fans in the street just as well as players in the stadium.

“With this new sand away kit, we have produced a design that is both classical and contemporary and gives a fresh new look to a famous jersey.”

Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates return to action at home in their next Serie A encounter against Lazio scheduled for Saturday, August 25 and will have to wait till their next fixture against Parma to debut the new attire.
