Pulse Music presents a playlist of 10 songs that you need to listen to this week.

Fridays present the best time to look back at the week and all the new music released. While the Duncan Mighty bug is still in full flight with the latest single by Tiwa Savage, 'Lova Lova', the likes of Johnny Drille featured Simi on his new single, while A-Q told a story on getting your PVC.

A number of other really explosive songs also made its way to the music sphere and we have compiled the very best for your weekend playlist.

ill Bliss - 'It is God'

 

A tweet on Tuesday, July 31 by rapper, ill Bliss painted the picture of an experience with the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the unit who have been in the news lately for some of their activities.

Then he released the single 'It is God', the following day, which grippingly captures how resigned Nigerians are to fate, as he says, ''You listen to your younger friend narrate his ordeal with police - SARS and you think that could have been you.''

The controversy that has followed his statement that the initial tweet was not a personal experience, but him just putting out lyrics from his song, should not in anyway downplay the powerful message, that the song engineered by Tha Suspekt carries.

Daramola - 'Heartbreak Please'

Talented singer/producer Daramola returns with this love joint he calls 'Heartbreak Please'.

The soulful artist whose project 'The Last Time I Tried' (T.L.T.I.T) enjoyed a fair amount of success with songs like Lotto enjoying radio spins pleads for heartbreak to stay far away from him and his lover on the new release.

The song is produced by Young Sidechain.

Fybeez - 'Miss You' feat. Dice Ailes

Malaysian based Nigerian duo of Lucas T and Okafor Hope, together known as Fybeez team up with Chocolate City's Dice Ailes on this one they call 'Miss You'.

'Miss You' is as breezy at it is enjoyable, finds the right tune to keep the melody going and make for a pleasant listen.

The song was produced by Lush-beatz.

 

DJ Many - 'One' feat Leriq

DJ Many features Leriq on 'One'.

Now Leriq recently put out his debut project, Luv.Wav, which is made up of entirely love songs and he brings the same energy on this to deliver a brilliant record with DJ Many.

Blaqbonez - 'Play'

BlaqBonez presents his first single off his soon August due, ''Bad Boy Blaq'' Project.

MI Abaga announced the release of three upcoming projects executive produced by him which includes Bad Boy Blaq.

'Play' produced by Tempoe, is a good appetizer that points a direction to what the album will offer, this is a banging tune and one of the best BlaqBonez has put out in recent times.

 

The Flowolf - 'Papa'

Ocho Record artist, Flowolf has released his third single, and he calls this one 'Papa'.

A simple tune that tells the story of him getting called 'Papa' by a girl he shows love and sends money to.

The song produced by DMW's Fresh VDM, has the right vibe to make an impact commercially on the scene.

 

Sheifunmi - 'Assurance Mash-up'

Sheifunmi offers a refreshing cover to Davido's hit single, 'Assurance'.

The song sees a mash-up of songs by Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade and it is well put-together with the delightful vocals making this worth your while.

illgod - 'Show You Something'

Rapper Illgod offers an unofficial remix of Boogey's 'Show You Something', produced by Black Intelligence.

With his lyrics, illgod shows you moments from his birth and growing up as a kid in the 80s, as he rhymes, ''Little me, lost my virginity early, it was this little chick, looking like the littleless fairy''.

 

Chike - 'Out Of Love'

Chike drops this new number titled 'Out Of Love'.

A really beautiful number that tells the story of an emotive love song with a twist about heartbreak and broken promises.

"Out of Love" is Chike's second outing of 2018, after the well received'Beautiful People' and this is well delivered in a mix of English, Igbo and Pidgin languages.

Waye - 'Your Love'

Waye stages a comeback with a new single titled. 'Your Love'.

The singer who made her debut in 2012 with the tune 'Yago', shows her versatility on this afro-pop song.

'Your Love' produced by Esbee, is a honest expression of her insecurity, weakness and feelings.
