Unai Emery: Arsenal boss bans players from fruit juice
Unai Emery want his players to avoid fruit juice in a bid to improve their shape and performances.
Arsenal new boss Unai Emery has banned the players from taking fruit juice during his regime at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners registered their first points of the Premier League campaign in their 3-1 win over London rivals West Ham United.
Emery is looking forward to stamping his authority on the team by stating that the players will not be allowed to take fruit juice.
According to a report by the Mirror, Emery has taken the scientific revolution by Arsene Wenger when the French men first came to England.
During Wenger’s initial regime he brought about a change and restriction to the player's intake and diet as alcohol containing substances were banned.
Wenger brought in special nutritionists and introduced strengthening exercises for the players.
Emery is following his predecessor's footstep by tightening the grips by making sure that the players are not relaxed now that the French man is gone.
The diet change and mandatory induced gym intensity is Emery’s blueprint of tightening grips on the squad who are still adjusting to his tactics.
Emery is reported to be focused on improving the little details such as players fitness and food intake which he feels play an important role in deciding matches.
The new Arsenal boss will hope to get more points before the international break when they travel to face Cardiff City in their next Premier League fixture scheduled for Saturday, September 1.
