Wizkid: Watch Pop star perform before a crowd of over 80,000 at Reading Festival, UK

Wizkid was the star performer at the Reading Festival in UK, that witnessed a crowd of over 80,000 in attendance over the weekend.

Wizkid took to the Reading Festival stage in UK on Saturday night, August 25, with a breathtaking performance before thousands of music lovers.

The Reading Festival, regarded as the world's oldest popular festivals still in existence and one of the biggest music festivals in the UK went down over the weekend of August 24-26 with headliners taking to the stage including Kendrick Lamar, Panic! At The Disco, and Travis Scott.

The likes of Dua Lipa, Post Malone, The Wombats and The Kooks also featured during the three day event.

But it was Nigeria's Wizkid that however stole the headline with his impressive showmanship on the big stage, which has earned him a lot of rave reviews both back home and abroad.

Taking to the BBC Radio 1 Stage, Wizkid performed a number of his well known songs like 'Bad Energy' which features UK rapper Skepta, Ojuelegba, Soco, Joanna Remix with Afro B and Come Closer, which generated a lot of response from the crowd at the event.

 

Wizkid who performed at the Hype Festival stage in Germany the day before, is also set to take to the Leeds Festival stage later on Sunday, August 26, as he rounds up a three day festival performances across Europe.

Wizkid announces that he is booked for the next three years

Wizkid earlier in june made the annoucement that he has been booked for performances for the next three years.

In a post on his Twitter page, the Pop star who has been performing at various stages across the world, says in his tweet, ''Booked for 3 years''.

The singer has stated that he will be performing at concerts anf festivals in the UK, Germany, Haiti, Canada and Jamaica.
