APC: Contestant petition Appeal committee

A contestant to the Vandeikya/ Konshisha federal constituency seat on the platform of All Progressive Congress ( APC)  Idyar Garba  has filed a petition before the Appeal Committee .

Mr. Idyar Garba is calling for the cancellation of the APC primaries for Vandeikya/ Konshisha Federal constituency saying it was fraught with illegalities and intimidation of delegates.

In his petition, Idyar Garba said delegates from five council wards were not allowed to participate in the primaries.

He said the exercise was characterized by intimidation of delegates, disappearance of delegates list from the register and diversion of materials to unknown designation .

Mr. Idyar said materials were diverted before his opponent Hon .Dorothy Mato was declared  winner.

He called for fresh election saying APC  Primaries did not take place anyway in Vandeikya/ Konshisha federal constituency.
