Lobi Stars vs Enugu Rangers
Lobi Stars who are the reigning champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) beat Enugu Rangers 1-0 after 90 minutes of action at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
The first half produced the only goal of the game in the 45th minute just before the halftime break.
Lobi Stars started on the front foot after Seka Pascal hit the wood work but it was Samad Kadri's who gave the league champions the lead with the last kick of the half.
Enugu Rangers who are reigning 2018 Aiteo Cup champions tried to get themselves into the game and force a penalty shoot out but could not as Lobi Stars held on for the win and lifted the title.
Continental assignment
Both teams will represent Nigerian football in the continental club competitions scheduled to start from Tuesday, November 28.
Enugu Rangers face Ethiopian side FC Defence in their first round 2019 CAF Confederation Cup clash while Lobi Stars battle with Cameroonian side UMS de Loum in the opening qualification round of the CAF Champions League.
