Now with 10 points, the Super Eagles are sure of a top-two finish in Group E of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers.

The Super Eagles have sealed a spot in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after a labouring 1-1 draw with South Africa in Johannesburg.

An own goal gave Nigeria the lead in the eighth minute but the South Africans responded with a goal in the first half to level.

There was no goal in the second half as the Super Eagles managed to get a point which sealed their qualification to AFCON 2019.

Now with 10 points, the Super Eagles are sure of a top-two finish in Group E of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers.
