‘My performance will reposition economy’

Oyo State governorship candidate of Accord in Saidi Ajadi has said his performance will reposition the economy if he is elected.

Ajadi, who spoke yesterday during his campaign at Moniya, in Akinyele Local Government, said his administration would prioritise the policies that would eradicate poverty and boost the masses’ living standard.

He said: ‘The ‘Accord government will look inward and harness all opportunities to improve the state’s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) without imposing tax on citizens.

“We shall create opportunities for sustainable industry-based jobs and indirect jobs for residents of Oyo State. We shall address youth unemployment by encouraging our youths to venture into agriculture through provision of soft loans, mechanised agricultural equipment, high yield seedlings and farmlands.

“Our workers shall receive salary timely and be motivated to improve their productivity. Pension arrears shall be offset, and we will ensure that their monthly stipends are paid regularly.”

Ajadi implored the people to vote him into power so that he would execute the good programmes he has for them. He boasted that his performance would speak for him and make the people beg him to contest for a second term.
