Day 14 of the ongoing reunion show was for sober reflection and real talk about mental health amid stardom pressure.

Though tagged 'Na Dem Dey Rush Us', the show reflected less than a quarter of the theme as it tugged at the challenges faced by the housemates post the 2019 show. Check out the highlights:

Free Money vs Audio Money

Sitting pretty on this highlight are former housemates Enkay and Tacha who both shared their interesting experiences with fans post Big Brother's house.

Enkay revealed the one time she got a bank account reconfiguring alert from an unknown fan who reached out to her during one of her financial lows. Once her account looks good, Enkay admitted that she slept better and smiled wider.

Tacha talks getting online cheques that never translated to real cash [Instagram/symply_tacha]

Tacha, on the other hand, addressed some of the lofty million Naira promises she received upon her disqualification. These monies never made it past Instagram as the reality star revealed most of the people who made the promises only wanted to chase clout. The people who actually supported her with cash were her loyal titans.

Post-House Pressure

The housemates in attendance took turns to share what life has become since leaving the Big Brother show in 2019.

For the show's winner Mercy, most of the negativity came from people who did not find her worthy of the spotlight and that got to her severally.

Jackye revealed her pressure came from the constant need to look or act a certain way for social media. Not being a fan of taking pictures, this made adjusting to the new life a little tedious.

Ike has had to deal with the heat, maybe far more than the other housemates. Waking up next to the show's winner brought in a different kind of pressure that a lot of the housemates couldn't directly relate to. On dealing with the reality that his life before the house was way more comfortable than now, the former housemate opened up about taking advice from Diane and Mercy on patience and finding the Naija resilient spirit.

As a single mom with a second chance at doing things right, Venita revealed she pretty much refused to let negative energy get in the way of her upward trajectory.

Omashola opens up about how people's expectations post the reality show [Instagram/@sholzy23]

Being perceived as a millionaire heir didn't do Seyi any good neither did Omashola's talk about his luxurious life in South Africa. Seyi shared having bouts of depression especially from seeing fellow housemates snatch endorsement deals while he looked on. For Omashola, the notion that he already had more than enough kept some goodwill from him.

The Giveaway Association

The streets are anything but less demanding and the housemates all had their fair share of moments with members of the social media beggars association who oftentimes act as trolls. Ike's was quite peculiar as he revealed that it wasn't until he joined the giveaway celebrity association that his fan base shot to the skies.
