For Nigeria, she was Super Falcons’ first-choice goalkeeper for several years and played at three FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments, the 2008 Olympic Games and four Africa Women’s Cup of Nations (AWCON) where she won three titles.

A major highlight of her career was when she saved three penalties to help Nigeria win the 2008 AWCON title in Ghana.

She is no longer the first choice goalkeeper of the Super Eagles having lost her place to the impressive Chiamaka Nnadozie.
