Emenike chairs APC 7-man committee to screen Anambra gov aspirants

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Governor Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of a seven-member Screening Committee for the Party’s 2021 Anambra State Governorship aspirants.

The committee is chaired by a long-standing ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Ikechi Emenike.

The committee is expected to conduct the screening in line with the provisions of our Party’s Constitution and Guidelines for the nomination of Candidates.

According to a statement by Senator John James Akpan Udoedehe, National Secretary
Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Sir Augustine Utuk – will serve as Secretary. The members are Rt. (Hon.) Eugene Odo, Prof. Ben Angwe, Mrs. Kemi Nelson, Ahmed Aliyu and Prof. Adeolu Akande.

The Committee will be inaugurated on Thursday at the APC National Secretariat, Abuja by 2:00pm.
