Baba Suwe's son says he never recovered after ordeal with NDLEA
Baba Suwe was arrested in 2011 by the NDLEA for drug peddling.
One of the sons of the late movie veteran, Baba Suwe, Adebowale has been speaking about his late father's death.
In a recent chat with LIB, Adebowale revealed that his father never recovered from his ordeal in the hands of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency after he was accused of peddling drugs in 2011, which turned out to be false.
"I can’t really say this was the cause of my father’s sickness, but since his matter with the NDLEA, my dad was not himself. He used to think about his wife and he used to think about us too because he still told me a few days ago that he was not sure if he would be with us for long and I told him that he would be with us,” he said.
He went on to speak about his last moments with the movie veteran.
The family released a statement on Tuesday, November 23, where it announced some details about his burial rites.
Baba Suwe died on Monday, November 22, at the age of 63.
