9ice celebrates third wedding anniversary with dope black-on-black photos

They married in December 2019, five years after having a daughter together.

Popular Nigerian singer Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, and his wife, Sunkanmi, have celebrated their third marriage anniversary.

9ice took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share stunning pictures of himself and his wife, as he revealed that they had been friends for over a decade.

He wrote, "12 years of friendship, 3 years married, forever to go...Eru to ju owo elo, Abeeni my no 1 cheerleader, my source of motivation and strength. Thanks for being a part of my life. My lovely wife. Happy Anniversary [sic]."

In another post, the singer described his relationship as two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together. "Cheers to two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together," he wrote.

The duo got married in December 2019, five years after having a daughter together. 9ice's relationship with Sukanmi went sour after they had their daughter in 2014, but they reconciled in 2019 and came back together.
