Nigeria Vs Poland: Premier League referee Michael Oliver to officiate 2018 World Cup warm-up

The Polish FA have confirmed that Olivier will be in charge of the game.

Premier League referee Michael Oliver has been appointed to officiate the 2018 FIFA World Cup warm-up game between Nigeria and Poland.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Friday, March 23 take on Poland in a friendly game at the Stadion Miejski Wrocław.

 

The game will serve as a warm-up for both teams who will be competing in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Polish FA have confirmed that Olivier who is one of the best referees in Europe will be in charge of the game.

“That’s correct; Michael Oliver is confirmed for the encounter. Polish FA decided to pick him ahead of others because of his track records in the English Premier League,” the Polish FA spokesperson Kwiatkowski told Complete Sports.

Englishmen Stephen Child and Stuart Burt will be the assistant referees while Robert Madley will be the fourth official.
