Odion Ighalo has scored four goals in 13 appearances for the Super Eagles.

Changchun Yatai striker Odion Ighalo has revealed he wants to score his fifth goal for the Super Eagles in the friendly game against Poland.

Ighalo who made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2015 has scored a total of four goals in 13 appearances.

The China based striker recently scored for his club side and is among the 28 players invited for the friendlies.

Ighalo last scored for the Super Eagles against Cameroon in the World Cup qualifier and will hope to be back among the goals after failing to score in the return against Cameroon and also the game against Zambia.

According to a report by Complete Sports Ighalo revealed that he wants his fifth and possibly sixth goal for the Super Eagles.

He said, “Hopefully, I can get a goal or two but the most important thing is to see how we perform as a team. There’s no pressure,”

After missing the last qualifier against Algeria and the friendly game against Argentina due to injury, Ighalo aims to be on the goal sheet against Poland.

Nigeria face Poland on Friday, March 23, at the Milejski stadium, 8.45PM Nigerian time.
