Premier League side Chelsea jetted out to start their pre-season tour of Australia without Super Eagles forward Victor Moses.
Moses was due to resume with his teammates after his extended break from participating at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Chelsea wing-back played all 90 minutes in the games against Croatia, Iceland, and Argentina as Nigeria crashed out of the group stage.
New manager Maurizio Sarri led his Chelsea players to their hotel as they touched down In Australia on Thursday, July 19.
The players and officials were well received by the thousands of Chelsea supporters who turned out to see their stars.
Star players like Alvaro Morata, David Luiz as well as last season loan players Fikayo Tomori, Tammy Abraham and Super Eagles defender Ola Aina also made the 25-man contingent.
Chelsea will take on Perth Glory on Monday, July 23 in their only preseason fixture in Australia.
They have other scheduled friendlies against high profile sides when they return to Europe.
They take on Inter Milan, Premier League rivals Arsenal and Lyon in the International Champions Cup before their opening fixture.
