Champions League: Twitter is buzzing over Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford as Juve draw Man United in the group stage

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is making a return to his old stomping group Old Trafford in the Champions League and Twitter is definitely looking forward to it.

In the Champions League draw on Thursday, August 30, Juventus and Manchester United have been drawn together in Group H.

Immediately after the draw, Ronaldo was among the trending items on Twitter as fans buzzed about it.

“Can we sign Roy Keane to play against Juventus please kick Ronaldo all over pitch and score header,” A Manchester United fan with the handle @brybags asked.

 

“Ronaldo's gonna come to Old Trafford and knock #mufc out of the UCL at the group stage,” @haziqzargar1 said.

“Man United got juve in the group stages I can already feel the 8-0 thrashing with Ronaldo scoring 4,” @chiefkeeffy97 predicted.

It will the second time, Ronaldo would be playing at Old Trafford since he left Manchester United in 2009.

 

The Juventus forward made his name at Manchester United where he won the Champions League, three Premier League titles, the FA Cup and several other trophies.

He scored the winning goal for Real Madrid to knock out Manchester United in a second leg round of 16 tie in 2013.

The Champions League draw and UEFA Awards ceremony in Monaco took over the entire Twitter Nigeria trends.
