Champions League: ‘I think Ramos is just a Bastard’ Twitter loses it as Ramos touches Salah’s shoulder at Champions League draw ceremony
After receiving an award Ramos touched the shoulder of Salah as he made his way to his seat.
Twitter lost after Sergio Ramos touched the shoulder of Mohammed Salah at the Champions League Draw and UEFA Awards’ ceremony in Monaco on Thursday, August 30.
Ramos and Salah awkwardly sat close to each other at the event as they met for the first time since their infamous clashing at the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool in May.
Ramos and Salah locked arms as they both fell to the floor during the game. The Liverpool forward sustained an arm injury which made him miss the majority of the games and Egypt opening fixtures of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
After receiving the award for the Champions League Defender of the Season, Ramos touched the shoulder of Salah as he made his way to his seat.

“Sergio Ramos has the audacity to tap Mo Salah on the shoulder as he walks past,” a Twitter user with the handle @EgyptianPlayers wrote.
“I think Ramos is just a Bastard,” @oluwashegun wrote.

“So UEFA invited Mohammed Salah and made him sit in the front row to watch Sergio Ramos and his Real Madrid teammates win all the awards. I love this game,” @MorataReloaded tweeted.

From the video, it is seen that Ramos tapped Salah’s shoulder to great the Liverpool forward as he made his way to his seat.
Salah, however, didn’t acknowledge Ramos in any way.
The Egypt international had remained quiet on the issue since he revealed that he never acknowledged Ramos text message after the incident.
”He sent me a message, but I never told him it was ‘okay.’ Was it a normal challenge? I don’t know,” Salah said a few days after the final in May.
Ramos was also accused of causing a concussion on Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius during that game.
Karius went on to make two mistakes that led to Real Madrid goals during Liverpool 1-3 defeat in the final.
