Community Shield: ‘It’s going to be a long season,’ Chelsea fans react as City take title

This was Sarri’s-Chelsea new manager-first real test and fans were not happy with their performance on the day.

It seems b fans are not optimistic anymore after Maurizio Sarri’s men were beaten 2-0 by Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday, August 5.

Sergio Aguero netted to goals, each in both halves as Manchester City dominated the season-opener in England and went home with the title.

 

This as Sarri’s-Chelsea new manager-first real test and fans were not happy with their performance on the day.

“Going to be a long season for Chelsea if they play this way all year! Haven’t given Sarri long enough to get his own squad together. #CFC,” a Twitter user with the account name _transferman said.

 

“With performances like this..  it is sure going to be a long long season for Chelsea and her fans....,” Favouragom41 said.

 

“Think the most worrying thing today was we didn’t look like scoring once? Lacked creativity against Man City’s B team, very poor,” LukeFinchy_95 said.
