Gabriele Bellodi an AC Milan youth player was on the receiving end of Gattuso's feisty character.
AC Milan boss Gennaro Gattuso was seen given a cheeky slap to a youth player Gabriele Bellodi for holding Barcelona shirt.
The event occurred during a pre-season game between AC Milan and Barcelona which the Italian Serie A side won thanks to a goal scored by Andre Silva.
After the International Champions Cup (ICC) game in California United States between the two European giants, Bellodi showed of the jersey which he collected from Marc-André ter Stegen the first choice goalkeeper of La Liga giants Barcelona.
Gattuso who is known as an energetic and no-nonsense player during his professional career cheekily connected a slap to the face of the youngster showing off the jersey of another club in the tunnel.
The 40-year-old seems to have taken his feisty character into his career as a manager.
Gabriele did not feature in any of AC Milan's matches at the pre-season tournament.
The 17-year-old has since been sent on a season-long loan to Italian third division outfit Olbia Calcio 1905.
Gattuso and his troops were unlucky to pick up any point in their opening game of the Serie A which ended in a 3-2 defeat to title contenders Napoli.
The AC Milan legend will hope to register their first points of the season when they host Roma at the San Siro on Friday, August 31.
