Kelechi Iheanacho, Oghenekaro Etebo: Super Eagles stars show off Wizkid’s new jersey
Wizkid's new merchandise gets more players on board as Super Eagles stars Etebo and Iheanacho model jersey.
Super Eagles stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Oghenekaro Etebo are the latest footballer to show off the new Wizkid jersey.
Iheanacho and Etebo who were part of the Super Eagles squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup are now part of the Starboy movement.
The duo who both play in England have followed the footsteps of Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who earlier modelled the Wizkid jersey.
Etebo and Iheanacho took to their respective official Instagram account to post a picture of themselves in the new merchandise.
Both players who are still in their early twenty’s are among the young crop talent in the national team that appeal to ‘pop culture and entertainment’
Iheanacho and Etebo also thanked Wizkid for sending the jerseys along with a caption that accompanied their respective posts.
Iheanacho said, “You already know!! Thanks to star boy @wizkidayo for sending me the ⭐️boy jersey.”
While Etebo said, “Thanks to the starboy @wizkidayo for sending me your jersey.”
Both players were in action for their respective English club sides in the Carabao Cup.
Both players who are among the Gernot Rohr's 24-man squad for the 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against Seychelles will be in action on Saturday, September 1 before they depart for international duty.
Etebo will hope his Stoke City side can build on from their win in their last Championship fixture when they take on West Bromwich Albion.
While Iheanacho who scored his first goal of the season will aim to find the back of the net in the Premier League when he and his Leicester City teammates welcome high flying Liverpool to the King Power Stadium.
