Kenneth Okonkwo calls Reno Omokri a 'shameless sycophant'

Okonkwo took a swipe at Omokri in an obvious reply to Omokri's Twitter post, where he described the actor as one who acts loyal without being loyal.

Kenneth Okonkwo has described Reno Omokri, one of the former aides to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan as a shameless sycophant.

Okonkwo took a swipe at Omokri on Sunday, August 5, 2018, in an obvious reply to Omokri's Twitter post, where he described the actor as one who acts loyal without being loyal.

In his long response on Instagram, Okonkwo said "One wonders what this busybody wants to achieve by writing this. It is this shameless, psychophantic attitude of such people like Reno Omokri, of writing falsehood, that is promoting the culture of fake news on the internet. Shame!!"

Earlier on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at about 11AM, Omokri had taken to his Twitter to call out Okonkwo for supporting President Muhammadu Buhari.

"This is Kenneth Okonkwo when he was telling @GEJonathan the same thing he is now telling President @MBuhari. He will also say the same thing to the next occupant of that office. That is what he is good at. He knows how to ACT loyal without BEING loyal!"

Okonkwo has made public his intention to run for the position of Enugu state governor under the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the next general elections.

Kenneth Okonkwo says south-east should support Buhari

Kenneth Okonkwo has said that if the people of the south-eastern part of the country don't support President Buhari in 2019, they will wander in the wilderness for eight years.

The actor turned politician made this known during an event where he was given the opportunity to speak.

The actor campaigned for Buhari by urging the Igbos to support the President for a second term as there is no better alternative.

He also joined ex-Governor Orji Uzor Kalu in the Igbo president agenda saying the support for Buhari's second term will be reciprocated by a support for a candidate from the South east in 2023 by the president.
