Kene Mkparu joins 20th Century Fox VP to speak at Emerging Cinema Markets in Turkey
Kene Mkparu and 20th century Fox's VP will be speaking at the Emerging Cinema Markets conference with Trends and Opportunities.
Today, Wednesday, November 21, Kene Mkparu will join Paul Hugginson, the executive Vice President of EMEA, 20th Century Fox to speak at the Emerging Cinema Market Conference.
Though the conference kicked off on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, the former MD of FilmOne Limited and now Chief Executive Officer of KomWorld, Nigeria will be speaking to wide range of leading cinema exhibitors, technology companies and industry experts at the conference.

Mkparu and Hugginson will be speaking at fourth session of the conference tagged "Emerging Cinema Markets Overview with Trends and Opportunities."
The session, Pulse reliably gathered, will be chaired by Patrick von Sychowski, Editor, Celluloid Junkie and will have three other panelists namely, Adnan Akdemir – Chief Executive Office, Sifisian Investments, Turkey; Mariam el Bacha – Chief Executive Officer, Cinepax, Pakistan and Till Cussmann – SVP Sales & GM Europe, Vista.
The three-day conference is holding at Swissôtel The Bosphorus, a five-star luxury hotel right in the centre of Istanbul on the European banks of the Bosphorus, Turkey.
Speaking at the session, Mkparu said, "With only 1 cinema screen per 1.3 million people and cinemas in only 13 out of 200 major Nigerian cities, Africa's biggest economy represents a huge cinema opportunity."
Mkparu also hinted that he looks forward to a very informative and interesting conference that will also offer a unique chance to network with industry experts and professionals as well a unique chance to share the story and potentials of the biggest cinema market in the continent of Africa.
